Stories! The very word brings a smile on to our faces, so many memories, connections and joy! At Kalatmika we want children to experience this magic of stories. Stories help children develop empathy, understand different perspectives and build emotional intelligence.
So how do we make this process enjoyable at the same time enhance learning, develop critical thinking skills, build vocabulary and
visual memory and increase imagination and creativity?
Kathalaya story lab, the brainchild of master storyteller Geetha Ramanujam, will be one of the methods used to achieve this goal.
Here, the story telling methodology is used to balance the emotional quotient with academic intelligence to facilitate holistic learning. The
complete and customized curriculum has been exclusively developed to suit the pedagogical levels of children between the ages of 3.5 – 15 years.
For each level the stories have been meticulously chosen and integrated with the NCERT & NEP principles of learning. These stories are accompanied by music, reinforcement through games, activities, worksheets and books to read aloud. Kalatmika aims to be a thriving space for reading, kindle a love for books, a place that sets the imagination free and enhance learning! Children can come in two days a week ,
each session lasting for an hour. Kalatmika welcomes you to this magical and whimsical world of stories !
